Reflection in imagination

Romantic places, fantasy landscapes, ecological worlds, dreamlike worlds, cosmos, science fiction, concept, symbolism or allegory are the constituents of Stéphane Daynac's graphic universe. Computer graphic designer for several years within his own company, Audissée, he suggests this site promote a more personal work by the sale of posters. A more personal reflection brought him(it) to conceive virtual graphic landscapes or " progressive landscapes " in which he wonders about evolution of the human race and his relationship with nature, ecology and environmental protection.
Landscapes, nudes and concepts are supports for his imagination. Aallegory or symbolism are often present, but the first purpose of these illustrations is to allow a contemplative relinquishment to the power of imagination.

The progressive landscape

Stéphane Daynac introduced into his concepts of illustration the notion of " progressive landscape ", term taken from the musical style " progressive rock ". This last one is a musical complex esperience mixing several other musical styles, such as rock, pop, jazz, fusion, classical or traditional and the most famous precursors are Génésis, Yes or King Crimson. Other groups as Pink Floyd or Huriah Heep are considered close to this movement. Heirs of this musical movement are called Marillion, Pendragon, IQ...

In the same way, the landscapes illustrations presented here, tinted with onirism, melancholy or lyrism, are influenced by diverses landscape's painters from several times and several schools, with the additional sensibility of the author, the whole leading to a constantly evolving synthesis.
